Fake Data Breach?

I've just received a warning that there's a breach of my personal data from amplitude-studious.com.

Odd though...we don't have a log in for Amplitude-Studio's developers website???  And this is spelt wrong (note the U in the studious).  Can anyone from Amplitude confirm if they've had a data breach or whether this is some new fishing attempt by putting email addresses on the dark web under a similar looking url?

Pretty sure it is scam.
I just reported two posts mentionning »darkweb«, the coincidence seems a bit big.
You can still change some passwords if it stills your mind. Might very well be worth it (close your browser and flush your cookies first).
EDIT: After reading your new reply, I noticed that they offered a link to change your password. I did not mean to say to change the password using their link! Sorry if it was unclear!

First of all, the URL is misspelled ("studious"). Secondly, it looks like nobody even owns that domain. A data security monitoring company who knows what they're doing wouldn't make these types of mistakes.  I'd bet that any clickable links in the email go to a sketchy site too.  Definitely a scam, IMO.

Yeah I mentioned that Studios was spelt wrong but this wasn't in an email, it was in a data security application.  If Amplitude Studios has had a data breach then it's a pretty clever trick to put an email address from a breach on the dark web with a similar looking URL...gets picked up by a monitoring application and people who don't notice try and change their password...or even just click through to the location.  I know this is a scam, I'm more interested in understanding how they have my email address and know I have some form of link to Amplitude Studios.

Could the app somehow have access to your browser history and/or email app?  That could explain how it came up with the URL and email address, but it still doesn't explain why it's giving you a data breach warning for a misspelled domain that isn't even registered.

Edit:  I'll also add that I'm really not sure that an open forum like this is the best way to get help for this type of issue.  You would probably be best served by opening a support ticket directly with the app developer (assuming that the app is from a reputable company) and/or directly messaging an Amplitude dev here in order to sort things out.

Hey everyone.

We are working with a lot of people to ensure that your personal data are kept safe with us. This is a scam and it's not the first time amplitude has been used in a scam. I will try my best to understand why you have been targeted with this one. Can you send me in private message your email address please ?

Thanks.
