A new resource type for the new faction would make them distinct and unique from all the others. Each of the factions specialize in a particular resource. Since we are dealing with an old faction that is wraith like it would be great if there was an additional resource type that got added to the FIDSI system we currently have.
Something like ether or essence. Produced by the stars of the systems. Or anomolies near by.
