Humankind is now biased against strict military playing and lots of combat. Producing many units is possible but the upkeep in gold punishes you: it is impossible to keep up a large conquering army. However: Independent Peoples ransack you all the time and the AI settles in the good spots you had in mind all the time. You want to be military sometimes. Also: there is no Domination Victory like in Civilization. Make it possible to play as Alexander, Attilla, Napoleon and conquer vast regions. Make it possible to implement a real strategy. Make the combat zone completely open, not bordered off in just a few tiles. And for a military affinity: upkeep of units should be lower.

First of all we wanted to thank you for your idea but this part of the forum is meant to ideas to improve the website (G2G) so If possible I would like you to create a thread with this suggestion on the Humankind Forum (that is the reason of being tagged as "Out of vision"), so other players can see it and talk about it > https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/humankind/forums
For the moment we decided not to open this idea section for Humankind as we are addressing some of the main feedback from the community.
