It would be nice to be able to upvote helpful or insightful thread replies. This would also help to filter which replies are worth reading first in Tip/Help threads.

The OUT OF VISION status is given by the dev team to ideas that are not compatible with their vision of the game or technically not feasible.

For forums it's not the point, where the flow of the conversation needs to be respected. What you wanted is implemented in the "Help" section of Endless Space 2, which make sense there.
