These are nice renders, im doing Blender and CbModel Pro now, do you know if i can use Keyshot 2.0 to render my models?

I tried Blender and failed hard... - I'm not sure about CbModels, haven't tried it yet - but google might help smiley: biggrin

It would be awesome if there was some program to actually see the model dynamically rendered which i could rotate it in all angles possible. xD

Im such a dreamer. D:

Animations are a lot to render - but in Keyshot I can move the point of view/the object and look at it smiley: wink

Okay, Madrox forced me into it smiley: stickouttongue

Here's my thread 'bout my 3D Stuff:

I'm sometimes doing 3D-Stuff in my spare time, Madrox asked me to put them online...

Programs I use: Rhino 4.0 (for the Models) & Keyshot 2.0 (for the renderings)

My Skill: Average, as I don't have much time - and my 3 yrs old Laptop isn't the fastest for rendering...

Some screens of the Stuff I already did:

First Abstract (normal quality)

2nd Abstract (normal quality)

Coffee Mug (as you can see, this is a low-quality render, maybe I'll do a normal/full render some day)

I made some other stuff too, e.g. a wine glass (can't find the screen atm; or just should make a new one), an artifact (lost project file, maybe it is backed up somewhere), etc.

Feel free to ask me how the Programs work, how I use them, etc. smiley: smile

If you have any improvements, ideas, suggestions, or anything else you want to tell me - post it smiley: wink

BTW: If you ask nicely and I have the time, I might (!) make some wallpapers..

Cheers, Tred.

in 3dsmax you can use a RT Renderer wich uses CUDA (Graphics card) to do a realtime render of your model.

The performance cost would be great.

I have only a on-board graphic card. ç___ç

I liked this Artifact, how to you make this glass-like texture?

Keyshot has an pretty big "basic" library of "Materials" / Textures - I just added one of them (without textures) - so it used the basic Model (the artifact) and rendered it like it was glass.

I could add other textures too, like different kinds of wood, metal, glass & stone.
