I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, thus the new thread.

The other two resolution settings besides "pixel perfect" overscan so much that I can't see the HUD or menus at all (making the game unplayable). I'd prefer to play this way as I play on a TV from the couch.

GPU is a GTX680 and the monitor is a Sony Bravia connected via HDMI.

Desktop resolution is 1920x1080. This is the only game I have where this occurs (and I've got a lot of games).

This should be just a setting on your TV. It completely depends on which TV you have, but if you go to the picture settings and play with it a little, you should get full screen properly. Examples include "just scan".

This all derives from TVs originally using outside lines to supply other information, so they automatically cut off bits.

Definitely not a TV setting. My TV was already set to full screen resolution rather than any kind of zoom/overscan.

This doesn't occur in any other game. I was able to correct it by setting my desktop resolution to 1280x720 but changing that every time I want to play is a less-than-optimal solution.
