Playdigious are working on a patch, but unfortunately I do not have any ETA when this patch may be ready.

I've had a chance to talk to the producers, and they told me that Dungeon of the Endless itself should be 64 bit compatible. We are suspecting that this may be a similar issue to what is happening with Endless LEgend and Endless Space 2, where Steam does not supply the correct version of the Mono framework.

I unfortunately don't ahve a Mac device to test this on myself, but EL and ES2 plaeyrs with similar problems have reported that manually running the Mono installer solved the problem for them, so perhaps it willb e effective for Dungeon of the Endless as well.

Could you check if there is a file with a name like "MonoFramework-MDK-4.8.0.macos10.xamarin.universal.pkg" in your Dungeon of the Endless folder?

We're aware of the problem, and we've been looking into it. Unfortunately, we did not create the original iPad version ourselves, so we don't have a solution yet.

I'll see what can be done, but unfortunately I probably won't be able to help you until after the holidays.

Oh, so Dungeon is affected as well... I'd need to double-check with our producers if there's a 64-bit version of Dungeon. But if there is, I can tell you that we have had tremendous problems with Steam deciding to use the wrong version on Catalina with both ES2 and Legend, so if there is a 64 bit version of Dungeon, the same might be true there.

I have seen this issue in the past, but usually it's my heroes taking "shortcuts" from point A to point B, and even so, it was happening very rarely.

Even so, I would suggest where possible establishing your choke points in rooms behind a crossing and not immediately on it.

EDIT: Note that this problem could also be caused by lag, so it might be worth having your friends host if you're usually the host, and vice-versa.

Sorry for missing your question, this area tends to be pretty quiet compared to the others... 

To answer your question, your game save and pretty much everything else should be on the cloud. Otherwise, it's in the game's folder under My Documents.

Updating here to note that Jungler seems to have solved his issue, following this piece of advice:

Hi Jungler. Yes, my problem is solved. My folder "Dungeon of the Endless" (found in the folder "My Documents") was in "hidden". Now everything works. Checks in the properties of this folder if "hidden" is unchecked. 
if the hidden box is checked, the game fails to launch correctly...

this is possible as i have hidden files on this laptop before to maintain a completely false sense of profetionalism at work HAHA. I'll get back to you in a sec. Fingers crossed, and thank you for your response none the less. Stil waiting on a reply from my submitted DXDiag to the dev. I'm sure they are busy/its the weekend.

I bought Civ 5 in the mean time so I've naturally become addicted to that fine game. But DotE is my first love, my neighborhood, my best friend and my enemy.
