Game stuck on splash screen

Hi, I just bought the game but when I open it, it just sits on the splash screen with music playing forever. I've tried the -novideo option to no avail. I have no funky characters in my Steam name. I've pretty much tried everything suggested in other posts and the game simply won't progress past the animated splash.

I am running version 0.1.3 on a Retina Macbook Pro with Windows 8.1 installed.

I did not think that it works on Mac yet? Sorry misread your post. Have you tried verifying your Steam Cache?

I am running it in Windows. Hardware is a Mac.

I have tried verifying my cache, still no good.

Figured it out. The game has a bug with high DPI screens. My virtual resolution is smaller than the screen's actual resolution so the UI was being cut off.

Plugged my Retina Macbook Pro in to an external display and everything works fine on the external display.

Going to leave this marked unsolved until devs see it and can file it as a bug.
