Whenever I click the "Save and Quit" button, my game is not saved. This happens quite often and just wanted to let you know.

Same here. I just lost the save game for my second playthrough.

The first time it happened I thought it may have been a missclick but that's the second time in a row and it looks like I'm not the only one.



EDIT: I know why that is, I had a revelation just after I posted here.

It's the steam name. I've been changing it quite often lately and the game got confused by it. I was able to "recover" my save file by switching back to my last user name.



Victorycake, I suggest you go to your documents/Dungeon of the Endless folder and look what's inside the "Users" folder. If your "bug" was the same as mine, you should find your old alter-ego there. Just change your steam name to that and you can resume your game.

To clarify, then, don't change your Steam username while you have a save; it redirects to a new save folder and 'forgets' where the old one is located.
