[0.8.7] Mechanical Pal does not stack correctly -- rounding errors

After the mechanical pal nerf, it now provides floating-point Wit bonuses to the Major module. At level 2, it provides a +1.5 bonus. However, building two Mechanical Pal IIs in the same room only provides a total of +2 income, instead of the proper +3.



This sounds like some sort of float/int conversion truncating all the 0.5s off before they properly add together. Either that or the mechanic is poorly explained and it is functioning as expected.

The pal only increases Wit, not income. I don't know the exact amount of Wit that adds the next "stage" of increased income, but I do believe this is how it's suppose to be. So in your example, you might not get the increased income until you get an additional 1 or maybe even 2 Wit added to the module. Provided by more Pals or a Hero on operate.

Still is this same BUG.



I checked this and see than only first Mechanical Pal give full WIT bonus (depending on the level PAL), and any next mechanical Pal in this same room give only 0.5 points to WIT (regardless of the level PAL).



lvl I : first: 1 , any next 0,5 (sum of 5 give 1 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 = +3,0 WIT)

lvl II : first: 1,5 , any next 0,5 (sum of 5 give 1,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 = +3,5 WIT = 3 WIT) rounded down

lvl III : first: 2 , any next 0,5 (sum of 5 give 2 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 = +4,0 WIT)

lvl IV : first: 2,5 , any next 0,5 (sum of 5 give 2,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 + 0,5 = +4,5 WIT = 4 WIT) rounded down

Devs. In DotE v0.9.99 is this same BUG or deliberate action (solution), can You confirm this is BUG or solution?
