Game crashes at opening cave screen

Hi

I'm running a new version MacBook Pro (i7-4578U) w Iris graphics and 16gb memory. I'm then using Bootcamp to load Windows 8.1. I purchased the game through Steam. I've checked all of the drivers / Win updates. Everything is current (non beta). I saw a workaround concerning changing my username on Steam, but that did not correct the issue. There are statements concerning unsupported shaders in the logfile.
