I seem to be having a problem with operate. Now I know that in order for the bonus effect to become permanent for that floor said hero needs to say in that room for one whole turn. I am not sure what is going on but I will select a hero who has the operate passive and have said hero start the operate mechanic (* the animation starts to play and the icon on their portrait is grey*). Now after I start a new turn from which I understand is entering a new room the bonus is added and the icon on the portrait is white but as soon as my hero leaves the room the bonus resets to the original value.



Am I missing something because this problem has persisted over many new games.

from what i'm understanding

the Operate effect is not permanent, it's temporary "as long the hero with Operate passive skill inside that room" and the effect activated 1 turn after he/she stay in previous turn, and when he/she leave the room, the Operate Effect reseted so you need to stay in that room again for 1 turn to enable Operate effect again
