Major module upgrades in MP not working?

Greetings.



Was playing MP mode yesterday with 2 buddies.



On floor 2 (i think) we found the science research thing, and it offered up food III. So we clubbed all our science together to buy it.



However, it seemed to have no effect. Build menu said I was building level III, but it only added +1 each to our food generation, not +5 as per tooltip.



Is this a bug or a feature? Be nice to know whether its pointless researching major module upgrades in MP.

Hello!

Apparently it is working, but resourses income mechanics in MP is different from SP. But there is some similarity. Let's call it "Dead zone".

All stocked resourses are divided between players. And, more important, income is also divided.

Lets say: basic generation of ind is 9. 3 players, so everyone will get 9/3 = 3 smiley: industry per opened door.

You build a lvl 1 generator. Now basic income is 12, so each player recieve 4 smiley: industry

Next move: you research a lvl 2 generator and build it. Basic income is 13. But this doesn't give each player 4,25, it will be 4. Same for 14.

So, 13 and 14 is in "Dead zone" - you wouldn't get profit from it, as production will be same as for 12.

Same thing for "Shop" module. It generates "wit/10" Dust per turn. But it cannot generate less that 1 Dust.

If you build one basic pal module (1 wit) - you will generate 1 Dust per turn. But for 2 Dust you need to put 11 wit on this module.
