Hi,

DESCRIPTION

I have a MacBook Pro with dual boot OSX and Windows. The GPU is an Intel HD3000. DotE runs super smooth on Windows (DirectX), but on OSX the menus are so painfully slow that I haven't even bothered to enter the game. If I run with -force-opengl on Windows then I get a crash.

VERSION

Both OSX and Windows versions are the latest updated by Steam. Windows is 1.0.25. Sorry, I don't want to reboot to check OSX... shouldn't this be in the logs?

Attached, although the OSX one isn't in the location that your How To said. It's in Application Support instead of Documents.

Thanks for checking this out. It takes some time fishing out all these log files from different places so I hope they're useful!

I second that post. I only have a Macbook Air 2011 13'' [1.7GHz,4GBRAM,IntelHD3000)andtheperformanceisreallylow.Evenafterswitchingtoalowerresolution.Thisisthemostvisibleintheintrovideowiththeshipbeingblown:ithassolittletorenderbuttheframerateislike6fps.Inthemenuthereislike1.5secondlagafterclicking[thecursorisfluentthough].

know this machine is not a power hog but I can play on it Endless Space, Dragon Age II and even Guild Wars 2 [poorlythough]. It must be the code. I don't have the Windows bootcamp but I play v1.0.25 on Yosemite 10.10.1. EVERYTHING is closed and updated.

I also have the same problem. The main menu screen + "cinematics" are dirt slow. The game itself is sort of playable once you get through the menu screens. But still feels a little bit sluggish.

+1. Haven't played on Windows, but the game feels fine to me once I'm into it (fine enough that I made it to floor 10 before the game crashed).

I'm on OS X 10.10.1 on a Macbook Pro 2014 13". Here's my video card info from System Information:
