resolution bug on startup

So after more than a year of running flawlessly, Dungeon has thrown me a goofy curve ball.

When I startup, my main menu looks like this:

So I can't select half of the menu. The same problem persist in the options menu:

Clicking on the resolution button doesn't do anything, so I'm kinda stuck.

Failed attempts so far:

- Changing Steam's launch options

- Reged

- Changing monitor's native resolution

- Uninstall, re-install

- Driver updates

- Beseeching The Mighty Microleth, Perpetrator of all Accursed and Random Bugs

Any ideas, anybody?

Have you tried unticking V-Sync and Fullscreen, and did it have any effect?

I tried both, yeah, and neither button even responded. Additionally, the menus were registering my cursor as being about 2 inches to the right of where it actually was.

Try deleting your DotE registry file:

For PC: /Dungeon of the Endless

For MAC: ~Library/Application Support/Dungeon of the Endless

Then open the user folder, then the one with your user ID, and in that one, delete the registry.xml file. Note that this will delete your bindings and settings.

No dice. I found I had a duplicate Dungeon folder, so I went through and just deleted everything, including the Steam files. Still no luck here.

Curious whether this happens also after you launch windows with a clean boot?

2 things:

1. Yes, it took me a very long time to come back and give this another go.

2. The clean boot did me no good :(
