I've got 2/3 Crypto Keys and still all Core defence systems are active in Phase one. Even if it says its Inactive!
Tried few times.

I have encountered this same bug.

Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Collected Cripto Key that sets "-4 Resources generated for each Door opened" as innactive.
Step 2
Entered Core level
Step 3
All 3 defenses are active.

For some reason you have to go into the settings menu and disable it from there, the default setting is to have them turned on.


The way the questions are phrased makes it sounds like you need to set the settings to "Yes" to turn them off, but you actually need to set it to "No"

The issue is still in the game.

The only way to find out that you have to disable it in the settings is to stumble upon this thread, it seems.
