This happens every time I have reached the second last stage. It has now been replicated two additional times

In the final level of the core, BEFORE the final fight the boss attacks you in waves. He has a lifebar, but after the first cutscene it disappeared. Everything else seemed to work fine. I managed to beat him and progress to the final room where his lifabar returned, he became massive and I died.
