Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Played a run
Step 2
First run ended (no issues)
Step 3
Began second run (without relaunching game)
Step 4
Noticed the afore mentioned bug
Step 5
Reported bug and continued to blast bad guys.

Today I noticed whilst beginning my second run after my first one abruptly ended due to my own lack of skill that the text that appears on screen to announce a wave of enemies beginning an attack was not showing up anymore. Just thought I would report the issue so the Dev team are aware.
