I've had to same issue twice now. The first time i couldn't enter a room after opening a door. The 2nd time the same thing happened, but there was another way in. Then it was like there was an invisible box around the core slot and I couldn't get close enough to click it. Both times it ended my run. Over an hour in, on floor 3 with a Beverage on. Really demotivating to play at all.
