I enabled remote storage on PC and steam deck. Verified files on Steam deck and PC. PC ended up taking the save from steam deck, without asking or prompting, and wiped my entire progress on PC. So...I guess saves do work....just not the latest. 

This is most obviously a Steam Deck issue, as that‘s the most frequent device I take out of the house and want to have my save on. But it’s not just a Steam Deck issue - it’s any cloud saves. And there isn’t even a cloud status indicator on the Steam library page, suggesting it’s not implemented in the game properly at all.

Also, why is it even off by default? Almost everything ships with it on these days. It’s kinda expected. 

I enabled remote storage on my PC, and backed up my save files just in case. I then loaded onto Steam Deck and enable remote storage, and closed the game. Loaded back into my PC save, just in case. Booted a second time on Steam Deck, and had my progress :D (Still wish Steam Cloud worked for peace of mind)

Even just moving from my PC to my laptop the cloud save does not work properly

I playing old Endless games now, I found there is a same issue as reported as in Endless Dungeon, Steam Cloud save seems to work only between PCs.  I cannot get Mac and Steam Deck to share the saves.
