I tried Dungeon of the Endless a while back and I loved the art style, however I did not really enjoy the gameplay and tower defence mechanics.

With all the media about this game though I honestly I thought that this game was that game, really bizarre they would call it Endless Dungeon.

Looking forward to Endless Dungeon to come out.

It is not a direct successor, but more in a spiritual way. Towers and moving the pylon is still in main gameplay mechanics. So that is probably the main reason they have a name the resemble their own first game :-)
