Every time I launch the game, it dashboards me before I even reach any menu. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall and even restarted my console to factory settings however nothing is working at all. I feel like I've spent £25 on nothing and it's been so difficult to have the support on this! Xbox points me to post here as does SEGA support - please, help....

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble you are experiencing. While we work on a patch to fix this, the most reliable workarounds we have found are to 1. delete the game's save data from the dashboard, or 2. put your console in offline mode.
