Prior the update on console, you were able to move fassie while using his ultimate. It was great to reposition yourself.

Since the update, his character is lock in place.

Is it me but since his ultimate kinda suck now. You cannot move to another zone to be closer to mobs. Because of that some mobs doesn't seem to be "mind controled" and keep moving toward the crystal bot.

In solo play, you can barely use it now because of that lock in place.

Any reason why it was introduced in this patch?

Previously it was a bug, you shouldn't be able to move with the ultimate active.
Works in a similar way on Bunker Ultimate, the idea is that if you are moving the crystal you need to positionate in the best spot you consider before using it.
