Is it normal for luxury boosts to only last one turn with ELCP? They lasted 10 turns in the orginal game, I believe.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work on ELCP!! It really transforms the game and breathes new life into it.

Thanks I saw it, but I fear the problem is minor units are not using any equipment...

Do they allways use the same template from UnitBodyDefinitions? is it possible to add some more variants or we must have only 1 template?

If luxuries only last one turn, there is most likely a mod confilct going on.

You can do whatever you want when modding yourself ;). ELCP is mostly feature complete by this point, I wont take on new projects except bug fixes.

Quest errors can have a ton of reasons: Custom factions, cities getting destroyed/razed that are required for a quest, etc.. without a savegame its impossible to say anything, that save should ideally be right before the bug happens (i.e. the turn before the quest should trigger).

Here is my save file where I received 3rd quest. At that moment, I had already finished upgrade the Altar to LVL 2. Hope this helps.

Allayi - recieve 3rd quest.sav

ELCP with no mod.

Edit: no custom faction. But I do config the file game worldgeneration to have 5 villages in spawned region.

Sorry, english is not my mother language and maybe I didn't explain myself correctly.

I like what you have done with this great mod and I wasn't sugesting some modifications or additions, just wanted to know if it was doable. I have had this game "abandoned" for so long I have forgoten a lot of stuff about it.

I'm already merging my old modifications with this mod so I can enjoy this game again ;)

During an eclipse (on the first turn, in which an eclipse of Dust Blizzards), in 1 turn I examined more than 20 ruins, and in 6 or more I received mithrite (and did not receive any other strategic resource). In this case, I had less than 100 hyperium and more than 300 mithrite. Production per turn I also had more mithrite, than hyperium. This is a very bad random. Previously, I often came across a resource, which was less. And I've never had only one species six or more times in a row. Некрофаги - Ход 86.sav

Yes your world generation change broke the quest. It specifically looks for regions where only one village is present, of which there are none.

@Rustam

I wont adress "bad rng" reports. Please keep in mind that I do this in my free time, bogus reports like these are really demotivating.

Hi. I was playing with the Allayi recently and when I got to Mission 5, I was asked to reach a population of 17, which is absurdly high for Allayi. Luckily, the Mission was declared when I reached just 15. That is nice, but I am wondering if this is a bug in the base game or the ELCP. The Quest telling me to reach 2 more population than I actually need, I mean.

"Players can now only dismantle buildings if they have full ownership over a (recently conquered) city"

How can i dissable this novation? Or maybe there is another way to destroy cities after conquest?

@AgostoAzul I have a stroing policy of "If there is noo save that demonstrates the bug in a reproducable manne, I will not look into it". Since in your case the bug worked in your favor and doesnt seem to break the game, I would consider it a minor issue anyway.

@VV4126 You cant disable it. If you want to destroy cities, you either need to wait until you have full ownership, or use a faction with the "weapons of the enemy" trait (cultists or custom faction).

First of all, big thanks for all the hard work you've put into ELCP, LeaderEnemyBoss! It's refreshed EL so much, and I enjoy all the changes.

Just thought I'd point out a small bug that broke my mp match with friends. Don't drown the Urkans! (I.e. don't have them on the ice shelf in winter when its about to thaw). It was hilarious watching Chaka disappear into the drink when summer returned, but it caused problems for us down the road. The Urkan never came back even after 20+ turns following our stunt. When we tried loading up our game again on our next play session, we kept getting "The game creation has failed (Argument cannot be null. Parameter name: gameEntity). error when loading. I've tested it with multiple saves before and after the big guy sank, and it seems clear to me that that was the problem. Its possible that the game was trying to account for all 3 Urkans (it was late game) and not liking the fact that it could only find 2.

Disclaimer: Sorry if this has been addressed already. I am only running ELCP v.2.4.1 (we didn't want to restart our mp game because of the newer patches) but I couldn't find any mention of this problem in any of the ELCP changelog files up to and including the newest version of 2.5.4.

Keep our friendly Urkans on solid ground, folks. Or don't, I'm not here to tell you how to live your EL lives!

Yes, there are several bugs in vanilla that can cause Urkans to die (which -as you noticed - isnt supposed to happen). Most of them have been fixed by 2.5.4 (the latest offocial one), but not the one you "provoked". I am currently working on a beta version that fixes that isue.

Hi,

i musst again say "THANKS" to LeaderEnemyBoss ! !

His mod ELCP is a truly big Impact on EL gaming ....

sadly to say - it is the reason i dont buy other titles from Amplitude Studios ...

EL have very nice GFX - good atmosphere ... good storys .... all is here for an tripple A game ..... except bugfixing/balancing

With every DLC it was more and more bugs and bad balances - specialy with the last 2 ...........

Without ELCP it would be still a nice to look game ... but badly playable

Thanks LeaderEnemyBoss to create and maintain over such a long time ELCP to bring EL to an good playable shape

and ..... shame over Amplitude Studios to NOT doing this ....

As we all have seen over time in the Gaming world .... create an game from an nice and unique idea with good gfx is not so hard ... but make it fun - even more in the long run is very rare acomplished....

Regards

Hi, LeaderEnemyBoss, First of all, thank you for work. I recently heavyly dived into Endless Legend, and today I discovered about your patch. I'm encouraged to install it. I have question about Urkans. I like this DLC feature and not, in one way it's interesting new game mechanics, on other hand, everyone too much obssessed with aquiring this monsters, and when you'll get all or at least 2 Urkans, it'll make you undefeatable, AI is sending the troops to level your Urkan distracting from other tasks. In changelog "Urkans have been made considerably weaker in order to make them less of a "must have" game winner" Thats great, but is AI obssession towards Urkan fixed as well? In vanilla game, (I played on hard difficulty) AI produce much troops to take Urkan and didn't bother to conquer weaker neibour (me). With decreasing benefits of Urkans will be decreased value of Urkans in eyes of AIs?

P. S. Sorry for my bad english.

Well the thing is, the ELCP-AI is generally just better at using the resources it gets, which means more armies once the game goes on for a while, which in turn means sending armies to Urkans is less of a "hit" to the AIs economy. You will notice that hard on ELCP is not at all comparable with hard in Vanilla. The AI will also be way less likely to just "suicide" armies into an Urkan, it will try to band armies together before attacking and will even consider to just buy the necessary Luxuries on the market in order to tame the Urkan peacefully. All in all you should observe your described scenario way less often.

I imagine that you need a save file where the bug can be replicated to address this issue, and I only have save files where the issue occurred, not where it can be done repeteadly, but the Naval Quest "Discreet Diving" sometimes tends to fail when you fight ANY Yellow Army, not just the one the quest spawns.

Yes, for issues like these I require a save from before the quest was finished.

Hey I love this patch but how do I disable the "Units can only be sold on their own territory" option? The rule doesn't make sense and also it stops me from disbanding
