Suddenly Game won't start - Not even title screen

Yes, that's right. I have installed the mono framework package and verified the game cache but still keep having the same problem. Each time I try to start the game it asks me if I want to reopen it. Whether I reopen or not I am still taken to the same white screen with a small black rectangle in the bottom left corner before it closes with an error message.

Still no change after trying to reinstall the game and mono package?

What is very weird is that it worked at first :/

Do you remember installing anything peculiar before the problem appeared? I know it is a long time since then but I can only think about another application that could have break something...

I tried editing the file as you suggested but the result is still the same. I'm going to try deleting all local content and reinstalling it again.

How would I try changing the screen dimensions as suggested by jentwickler?

Jentwickler - I had a look at the links you sent but I honestly don't think I'm computer literate enough to understand fully what to do there!



Pikou - I looked in the game files but there doesn't seem to be a 'Users' folder in my Endless Legend docs at all!

Does this shed any light on my problem?

Following the info provided by jentwickler it seems El Capitan version might create some issues with mono.

This is something we will try to investigate.

Until then, do not hesitate to update us if your situation evolves in any way.



On a side note, if you want to try some launch parameters to see if it changes anything please go to the folder "Users" in Endless Legend documents.

Having exact the same problem.



Even the log of the crash the same. Something went wrong while unitiy is questioning the screen resolution.

I've found this while snooping around for a solution. (last post say on el captain mono having problems to add his to the path) maybe this helps.





Is there a possibility to access the unity start parameter? or do you have a list of startparameter for the endless luncher (screen resolution, window mode...)?



What is the current state? Is there a bug Ticket number, anything?

Do you need more Infomations?

I've found that the parameter from the unitiy client are directliy usable for endless....



and so i tryed a bit aruond and adding the following the startparemeter helped me out

I installed EL from Steam and it worked with no problems whatsoever for a while.



Suddenly it stopped working. Have tried reinstalling it and opening the mono framework package but to no avail.

Same problem using steam also, it seems to be since last update.....I have not been able to play the game for 2 day now any solutions it won't Game won't load At all .... i have to force my mac to restart at times smiley: frown Its a brand new macbook pro retina this week ... PLEASE help

I also thought it would not boot. However, I inadvertently let it sit for awhile and then I hear the starting dialogue. Running the game now is very slow. Each early turn takes way longer than it used to, before El Cap, or the latest update, not sure what the cause.
