I will wait for the full release, though I will throw my money at Amplitude with much thanks and kisses.

Stardock's Elemental ruined beta released games. I wait for full releases now, but I do watch the LP's eagerly.

No MP tomorrow has me mildly disappointed, but I'll get over it. I am happy to be seeing it at all this soon.

Besides, one thing that I love about Amplitude is that it is rarely a long wait between updates.

Indeed. It may lack a lot, but they're letting us influence the development. Very kind of them.

hehe Thx Devildog,

I hope you will like it, this is a very stressful moment to have everyone playing it, as it is just Alpha, all I can see is the list of things left to do, improvement and additions. Yet, as scary as it may be, it is much better to have your feedback now than when it is too late smiley: wink

If it comforts you, I already know I'll be enjoying the game and recommending it to several people! smiley: smile

Yes.

And the map.

The map is alot more "alive" with a lot of things to do with it.

I can say that the actual level of fun of EL is far far better than the fun factor when ES was in beta.

For me.

Yeah totally - As bug ridden and incomplete as ES was back in alpha, it was still a very enjoyable experience. Though any development process where you can participate actively tends to be - The folks over at Paradox are also an absolute delight to work with as a beta smiley: smile

Yeah, I see this as an "expectation-free" release, with a promise of another 12+ months of regular updates and improvements.

It can't be worse than many of the other titles I've paid full price for lately that have been crap.

Sure, even with the bugs, the game has crossed the "fun" threshold some months ago smiley: wink

Your Alphas are more polished and feature-packed than some developers' full release, so try not to feel too stressed.

This will be the first of your games that I'm *really* going to be involved with, as it's my all-time favorite type of game ("fantasy" 4X). I hope that with my 25+ years of playing these types of games, I can help you guys develop the game even just a little further.

I love you guys. I have nothing but good and positive feelings towards Amplitude.

Glad to have you onboard!

I guess focus and stress have to go hand in hand sometimes. But really, thank you guys for letting us be a part of the game.
