Is it designed that way or is it a bug?

As you can see tiles with science that surround the village do not benefit ftom geomic labs in my capital (even though visually they do), but I guess they should because the converted village is in the same region as my city.

I think this happens because the tiles around the village are not tagged as "exploitation" like the fields around your city. But whether or not this is a bug I don't know and will ahve to ask the designers.

With the way the simulation system is set up, effects that modify tile out put of a region (like geomic labs) can only affect ALL converted villages, or NONE of them. I assume for balance reasons Amplitude decided, that regional tile output should affect none of them in the end. Sadly the FISDI display on the world map isnt 100% accurate when it comes to converted villages and fungal blooms.

Note: In ELCP Fungal blooms in your capital region DO profit from regional tile bonusses like geomic labs. However I never changed it for cultists, because:

- They are already strong, dont need the help

- They tend to have only one village in their capital region which often doesnt even get converted
