I think this happens because the tiles around the village are not tagged as "exploitation" like the fields around your city. But whether or not this is a bug I don't know and will ahve to ask the designers.

The Endless games are designed around Simultaneous Turns, so a hotseat multiplayer probably won't be added.

Please treat each other politely and with respect. You're free to argue for or against any proposed idea, but personal attacks are not acceptable.

thank you very much for this thread, and the very neatly structured way you presented your concerns. We have been discussing the balance of the Mykara based on your feedback, and we are considering some changes. I would also like to mention that some of the balance issues you have been discussing were connected to bugs, like the Overgrown Cities lowering your Empire Approval far more than intended.

Unfortunately, I have no information yet on when the next patch is inbound, but I hope it will address many of your concerns.

I really like this suggestion, to be honest, I find it fairly simple and elegant (especially in the late game where you have so much to keep track of). I don't think this is something we have much capacity to add to the game at this point, but it's an interesting idea to keep in mind nonetheless.

We hear this question a lot, and our answer is pretty straightforward: We wil probably want to come back and take another shot at the Endless Legend gameplay some day. But right now we don't feel like we have learned and progressed enough to make a real EL 2.0; if we were to start the project now it would be more like an EL 1.5 (and we don't think that would be fun to make or fun to play).
