Morgarwr quest line balance

Holy sea monsters!!!! I was playing my first game as the morgarwr (on normal) and was doing ok: in era 2, had about 6 fortresses and both of the legendary buildings. I managed to get to the faction quest part that spawns the roaming clans army, and I was absolutely destroyed. They had soooo much damage and health that a hero led army of 4 of their support units (in full T2 gear) plus 3 level 2 militia made no impact on them at all. I had no decent minor factions that I could assimilate (spider people, sisters or caecactors) and no catspaw armies nearby. The quest spawned armies should at least be balanced for the current era, and not totally op if you accidentally quest rush to them. You would at least need palladian or adamantium gear to have beaten them (in my opinion, if you can do it with T2 or T3 glass or titanium I stand corrected)

Has anyone else had this issue, or was it just bad luck that I managed to get this far by accident?

I haven't seen the 'Too Many Enemies' quest yet. I got screwed by the 'Too Little Control' Morgawr faction quest when it spawned Dust Lord units with 5X the attack power of my units at Era 2. I have seen another complaint thread on that overpowered Roving Clans army though, so you are not alone.

This quest army (Broken Lords or Roving Clans) will be clearly nerfed in the next patch. We did it already before but obviously not enough. Thanks for the report.

Thank you, they just hit way too hard if you got to the quest early (which is easy enough to be done on accident). But I have seemingly run into a small AI problem with the Roving Clans variant. It 'Jammed' itself on a coast after disembarking and sat there 20 turns. I even threatened them by moving in a real battle fleet and they just sat there till i killed them. Ships VS Transports OP, Mother Auriga help the foolish AI across the sea who declares war 'before' landing troops.
