Hello,

It might be too late to get this in EL, but if ES2 also has a stockpile system then it might benefit from it.

Basically, stockpiles are quite clunky to use right now. They're fine when you pop one every once in a while, but if you have several of them they're incredibly frustrating to use. This, of course, mostly applies when playing (agressively) as the Cultists where a single razed city can give you about 20 stockpiles in the mid-late game (10 of industry and 10 of science).

So, thinking back to M&B (a completely different game I know, but with an excellent interface even if hidden at times), my first idea would be to use Ctrl-click and Shift-click to use 5 of, or all of the stockpiles of a given category respectively. For instance if I have 8 industry stockpiles and want to use 5 to complete some important building in a given city, then I shift-click on the Industry piles in my Empire screen, select the city and all 5 stockpiles will be queued. If I just got 12 Science stockpiles from a city and already have all the relevant technologies to get them at 1600 value, then I Ctrl-click the Science stockpiles in my screen to queue all 12 of them at once.

The main issue with that is that it might not be super intuitive, but at least it would exist (and could appear in the Controls option, or maybe some tooltip when mousing over the stockpiles). Another idea would be to implement some contextual right-click menu with options like "Use all", etc. A bit more obvious to the user, but sightly less practical to use in my opinion.

And last thing : if you literally have only one city (again, mostly applies to Cultists) then Industry and Food stockpiles should automatically be applied to that one city without needing to first go into yet another menu to click yet another confirmation.
