Water Resource Tiles

Why not add special water resources tiles that we can tap into by constructing specials ships or extractor.



An example of this would be some sort of exotic whale that we would need to construct a fishing vessel. This Whale could act like a luxury resource or provide an empire wide bonus. I don't know what is planned for navel combat but I think this would be a great addition as you can attack and enemy fishing vessel and basically stunt the enemy empire. The only concern I have would bet that this mechanic would merely become a annoyance.

You can already make use of ocean tiles by building a city near the coast, they are the most profitable (and aesthetically pleasing) in the case of broken lords.

i second that! having the ability to build cities specialised in gathering sea resources, like a ''sea-city'' with several bonuses to building military or fishing ships (if that makes any sense), would be a great idea!

Thanks man, I hoping it can get added somewhere down the line and the community will probably be allowed to design a race. I am hoping that we can design an aquatic race that get several sea based bonuses. These unique sea tiles I am talking about would defiantly play into that.
