Hello all!



I am definitely going to buy the founders pack of Endless Legend. I am greatly looking forward to the Drakken Hero (I really like dragons in general ). Me and my brother are just discussing whether we should buy it on my, his or both our steam accounts.



Amplitude studios, you probably have your own plans for the races which you are going to incorporate into the game, but I thought I would make this thread to try give you some ideas. I also invite anyone else to make their suggestions here, commenting on others' and suggesting their own. Even if you have your own plans, there is always the chance that someone could come up with an idea that you like, or give you inspiration for something.



Anyway, my idea is pretty simple for now, I shall edit it and/or contribute more ideas later, but I thought I should post this now as a possible catalyst that other people would start making their suggestions and contributions to this game which holds great potential.



The Lavaborn



A race of coldblooded creatures that live in geothermal hot spots, where the magma from the planet core comes nearer to the surface and heats it. One example would be Volcanoes. Presumably the species would be lizard-like or at least reptilian, as they are cold blooded and require heat from outside sources. They are extremely susceptible to the cold, and these winters that have been getting worse and worse have drastically decreased their numbers. Their sources of heat have also been slowly cooling. Tey need another way to keep themselves alive and warm.



Perhaps the rivers of lava that flowed through their underground towns have been solidifying, and the temperature dropping. This could suggest the planet's core cooling, which could also explain the weather getting colder. But why would the core be cooling...? (I'll think if I can come up with a reason for this. maybe a race that is sucking the energy for themselves. Though I'm sure the dev team have their own idea for this )



Edit: I do now see there is a faction creation competition that has been made already by a moderator. *facepalm* I might send my idea to Nosferatiel after I've actually played the game and know more of what's going on.
