Advanced Luxies / Strat Resources poping under district

Nothing. Life on Auriga is tough, deal with it.
Penalty option : Destroy district / search specific tech to allow extractor + district on the same hex.
Play it cool option : Build whatever you want wherever you want.

It's all in the title. Right now we can't destroy districts nor move them and building a district prevent from building an extractor on the same hex. I'm ok with the initial rule but when the resource appear after a change of age, I feel a bit disappointed.

Question is: what do we do with that ?

1st Option :

- Pros : Nothing changes.

- Cons : You can still feel frustrated/disappointed.

2nd Option :

- Pros : The player is responsible of her choices.

- Cons : Another random element that can drag you behind your competitors.

3rd Option :

- Pros : It's fun to build everything without limitation. By the way let's drop this approval system, it prevents us from building planet size cities.

- Cons : The lore/logic/general design has to be broken.

you know a 4th option is to have a stand in anomaly, a "rumble pile" for Strategic resources or an "odd growth" for luxury resources. Once you get to the appropriate era their uses become clear. It prevents you from building on something and making it unusable

I would just like to point out that I'm fairly sure that districts serve as extractors as long as you have the necessary technology to extract that luxury or strategic resource.

Wut wut wut ? There is an in-game feedback giving away position of soon to be discovered resources ? I will have to look at this then.

And ok for the district acting as extractors.

Sorry and thanks for your help everyone, thread closed I guess ^^

The districts should act as extractors. Feedback might be sparce at this stage, but that's how it's supposed to be.

If it doesn't work, please open a bug report in the tech section.

Thread closed, indeed. smiley: wink
