[Suggestion] Break Siege Option

I'd like to suggest a simple addition to the city interface menu, which is a "Break Siege" button near the stationed units display. It would simply attack the sieging army with all of your stationed units (including any heroes assigned to the city), re-stationing them to their positions when combat is finished. This is mostly a convenience option, a single button attack method to push away the enemy, instead of having to click "create army", "assign hero", and when combat is finished, clicking the "join city" button.

Governor should take part in battles using that button.

Well shoot. I thought that was for the faction contests and official game documents. Thanks for the tip, I'll post future suggestions there.

Yeah, once you go in there and make a post you'll notice you can tag it as Suggestion and everything.

It will be the most ridiculous thing ever If this game goes to release and you can't use 4 units inside your city to break a siege of 1 unit.

if they implement an ability for garrisoned units to leave the city and attack the sieging units, they should at least give the sieging units a defensive bonus.

Actually it would have one very practical and positive gameplay effect:

I had a city that was besieged from such an angle that the city garrison couldn't begin an attack against the besiegers due to the positioning of cliff faces. Having such a button would prevent a situation like this from being exploitable in PVP.

I wouldn't say that garrisoned units need a sort of "break siege command" since most of the time it's possible for the city's garrison to muster out and attack the besieging unit(s)...unless you're in Faust's situation. This has also happened to me when I set the terrain type to mountainous at world generation. Think the problem could be solved if units that want to besiege a city must be +/- 1 level above or below the city to lay siege to it, just like you can't attack unit stacks which are too far above or below you.
