I figured out that it'd be fun to have stats in these polls so we can see how our entries grew during the poll smiley: smile Like in my case, I have 20 votes, but were all votes from early on? Or did it gain popularity after few days? How fast did it gain votes? Etc. I've noticed that a lot of people complain about "popularity" of users or such affecting votes, and I figured out that it'd be nice if we got stats so we can research these stuff and see how it actually happens. This is after all community competition so I think it would be fine for community to see how stuff happened.

Another thing that would be cool to know is that what other factions did the people who voted me vote as well? Like, did they all vote same factions or did they vote all different factions? Former would show that the ideas they voted had something in common with my idea which would be cool to know in my opinion :3

/agreed

There is just so much wrong with the way this was done, I will probably not participate in anything else in the future.

I'm not sure if you actually read what I wrote <_< I mean, yeah, I do have complaints about the poll, but in this thread I'm just asking if they could make all poll related stuff public. It would allow us to analyze the meaning of the results and see how votes are divided and such.

Hmm... Now that I think about it, couldn't devs also reveal statistics on g2g? I mean, what is the harm?

I'm kinda interested whether most votes come from users who have just registered and have 110 points or from people who own the game.

I'm not sure whether they even have more detailed stats, themselves. smiley: confused

Stats would be interesting...

I know I personally based some of my votes off of their current popularity (I would rather vote for a ok, popular suggestion that might win than one I think is awesome but has 2 votes)

Well, they should then start keeping stats ._. I mean, if you are going to make community involve themselves by voting, it would provide useful information for them as well

I didn't mean that they have to reveal to everyone in public who voted what. Though I do think that its kinda bad practice if they themselves don't know who voted what <_< And this is forum poll. Everyone is already anonymous so its not exactly same as political polls.

More reaons to keep the results secret until it's over. Many factions are doomed because they didn't start strong.

Indeed, I don't think there are any 'detailed' stats beside what we can see.

If you are going to keep posting that in every thread about the voting and the competition, without any argumentation whatsoever, I'll have to give you a warning or even infraction if you keep proceeding like this.

Wait, so they don't keep any information? ._. Not even to ensure that rules are followed?

Thats scary enough thought for me to lose my sleep over it <_<

Edit: Oh you must mean that they just don't have any graphs or other stuff that allow research, right? Thats what "detailed" means right?

Agreed. If there was one thing I'd really, truly like to see changed it is that.

(obviously I have strong opinions on other matters as well, but this is the one thing we can all agree on I think)

Thats a horrible attitude, it doesnt help the game in any way cause some entrys just get a good start out of their top or bottom position in the list and out of such an attitude good entrys in the middle are doomed.
