Anyone think is kind of bullshit that the submissions for this competition that are posted first are the first thing you see? I know it can't be done any other way being a forum and all. But what will happen is what will happen last time, you get people checking out the thread seeing the first few entries (often just the first) and this is what happens:



Your on first page of submissions, you read the first submission, and think do I like this?



Yes? Then il vote for it.



No? Then I can't be bothered looking at the rest of the 99 entries.



I don't believe this competition will result in a end result that the community truly wants, I think it would be way better if the debs just picked the top post they want instead of this system, because I bet it will happen again with part 2 of this comp, the first submission will win again, mark my words.

I unfalteringly reject the idea of pre selection by the Devs cause it goes against the idea of G2G and the idea of using democrazy as a tool of game development.

To be fair, part 2 will most likely have a lot less competitors because drawing is really really hard and embarrassing when it goes wrong x-x;

Ah, complaints and is it how long from the start of quest 2? 12h? This must be some new record. Sooo maybe instead of being sour propose the solution to the perceived problem? Unless you are complaining for the sake of it and now that you managed to establish that Amplitude G2G sucks you feel somewhat accomplished?



There is difference between criticizing and plain complaining. While the first can actually help the later does nothing but make the author feel better (and the surrounding people usually don't). I understand you may not like some parts of it or even all of it but please try not to spoil it for those of us who are trying to have fun with it. And if you feel that strongly about it's flaws how would you improve that? I see no real solution as even if you randomize the list some entries will still be first and some will be in the middle.

I just wonder how the entries will be featured in the poll this time. A single link with basic description won't cut it imho, for graphical depictions.

I really hope they will try to do something to present all competitors in a single tread, on a single page. As it is, if people act the same way they did with the hundred contributions, by reading the first and the last, it will be really frustrating and they will loose the best (imo).

I'm baffled at the new poll ._.; I mean, it has one non entry in it. How is even that possible?.. Did nobody actually read through it?



*sigh* Ah well, at least its not winning. Despite having 5 votes so far. *sigh* But this type of situation shouldn't exist. Now its theoretically possible for non entry to win the poll. That isn't supposed to be possible.

I did the opposite - I went from last to first this time. I actually ran out of votes before I saw the first entry - which I might is incredibly impressive and really effing scary to boot.
