As title says.



I think that will be interesting to have an option in diplomacy screen to buy contact with factions you haven't meet and sell to other players contact with factions they haven't meet.

Although not being a priority, I've found it in other 4X games and liked this feature.



I know that it will have to be balanced by Drakkens, to avoid them start selling contacts at game start. Could be requiring an specific tehc, including it into another (diplomat's manse?), capping it the first turns, or increasing cost at game start.

As for the Drakkens, I think the easiest way to balance their extreme early game advantage is to make them "see" the locations of other factions, but can not interact with them until they actually MEET THEM directly. So basically we can start scouting in the direction of other factions in order to "meet" them.

Good suggestion. Back in Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, asking about the other factions was always one of my first diplomatic acts.
