As the title says...

Sometimes, when I advance in age across Era 1,2 and 3, I ignore the Titanium/Glassteel Weapons and armor technology. So I just upgrade the Iron and Dust equipment on my units.



Is it possible to add an "Auto-upgrade" function in the unit customization screen? It will automatically give the unit all the latest standard Iron/Dust equipment (by default). cuz sometimes it gets a little tedious having to manually upgrade all the equipment from level 1 to level 2 and again to level 3 especially when I am playing a faction with strong science income.



Of course this idea is just for simple convenience, so it is not a big priority for development... I just had the idea it cuz I'm a bit lazy sometimes

Plus it would be just like Endless Space...

Mmmm. No. I wouldn't want that - I don't always want to have my units automatically retrofitted to higher tiers of equipment. I might like to have more, cheaper units to throw at the enemy with the sole purpose of wearing them down before bringing a heavier army. Or just to distract them elsewhere.

Oh don't worry, the auto-upgrade button will be exactly like the one used in Endless Space. It is NOT meant to be an overriding feature that automatically triggers. NO.

In Endless Space, you click the button and the ship gets fitted with the latest versions of the equipment that it already has. It made the upgrade process slightly less tedious with quick science advancement.



Anyways, just like Kingsguard said: it is not an urgent feature, but would be convenient...
