Can we have an option for faction-based starting locations?

If possible, I'd like to request an option that make each empire starts in the area that resemble their faction's introduction.



For example, Drakken faction should start in canyon area with many high grounds/mountains and rivers.





Or Roving Clans should start in desert area.





EDIT: By the way, I think Drakken should have technologies that can make use of mountain tiles. They are dragons after all.

That would mean they would have to rebalance factions to fit the unique terrain - Drakken would be starved for food in comparison with the wild walkers and such.

That's why I asked as an option. The default can still be random, of course.

I think Civ 5 also have something similar, in which each civilization has a preferred terrain type they start on, and there is an option to turn that feature on or off.

To turn it off - And unlike Endless Legend, the civs were actually pre-balanced for specific terrain.

I think the game already has a starting bias for factions... but it's not always reliable unfortunately. Sometimes, Borken Lords starts in grasslands with only 2 Escaped Specimens anomalies (which is not enough!)



It would be nice to have a stronger starting bias (depending on factions traits?), but also allow the starting bias to be turned off, just like in Civ 5
