I just finished my first game of Endless Legend. Quite enjoyable! But I want to talk about the victory screen...

Not the post-game screen with graphics and such, the notification screen when you achieve victory.



This is the content of said notification:

You are victorius!



has achiev victory ()




After a long string of fantastic flavor text in the main questline (I was playing the Cultists, but I imagine the other factions also have well-written quests), I built a wonder to finish the game and... well, that was disappointing.

I wasn't expecting a conclusion to a storyline or anything like that, but at least a paragraph of flavor text.



Ideally, it would be great to have one paragraph for each faction, for each victory type. But even if it was just a generic line per victory type (as in Civilization) or a generic line per faction, it would be so much better than nothing.

I completely agree with this. It would be at least a little more rewarding to have a little more written there to finish things off.

Agreed, this is a good suggestion so it will be moved to the G2G subforum for further discussion smiley: wink.



I also think it would be nice to have a bit of ending text depending on the type of victory such a diplomatic, supremacy, science etc.

A Warcraft 2-like ending video for each victory type would be awesome, im pretty sure that Amplitude can do it easily !
