I think it would be great to have the option of "seeing" retaliation damage being done to AI and enemy units.  For example, if I have a Coastal Battery or Tower of Truth, have some small animation that shows the firing of the Coastal Battery or laser from the Tower of Truth.  Right now the game tells me if I suffer retaliation damage but I get no visual indicator when I am doing retaliation damage to other factions.  Would be neat to be able to see this, especially with those roving Fomorian fleets prowling along my shorelines.

very good, especially if I don't know  there's a tower there and it can damage me, that kind of surprise reveal would be cool
