I must admit that the music is amazing, but sometimes I wish I could mute it with a key for just a second without hitting the menu (like CTRL+M or CTRL+S in most Blizzard-games).



Needy family members and talkative friendly players get in the way of enjoying the lovely soundtrack. Noisy environments or distractions force me to play with higher volume. Sometime a quick press of a key is all you need to get the message and continue enjoying.



Either way, thanks listening to the community and giving me a reason to throw Civ 5 screaming out the window on the 12th floor!

I have played Blizzard games before they were called Blizzard - And I have never realized these shortcut keys existed...nor have I ever felt the need for them either. The mute key on my keyboard does all of that just fine on its own.
