You know that icon right above the "end turn" button that displays the current season? If the season is winter, and you hover the mouse over that icon, I think it should pop up a list of all the modifiers currently in effect due to the season.



I did eventually figure out that those modifiers are listed in the empire screen, but that icon was the first place I looked for them.

I absolutely agree. Sometimes I clicked that "winter is here" banner too fast and I missed the effects, or in fact, I have already forgot the effects altogether.

That would be a useful addition to the UI. Not top priority (I give that to proper camera and information overlay control), but certainly a nice addition that will hopefully make it into the game eventually.
