I love Endless Legend, and am only getting a little bored with the capacities we have so far. Here's a thread for one-line ideas:



Heroes

--Geologist: This hero identifies strategic deposits inside his vision range 1 tier early.

--Colonist: This hero identifies luxury deposits inside his vision range 1 tier early.

--Tenacious: Battles involving this hero last an extra phase.

--Slippery: Armies led by this hero do not incur extra movement costs when moving adjacent to unfriendly armies.

--Ambusher: When deploying an army led by this hero, you are granted a number of extra deployment tiles equal to the army's unused movement. These tiles are randomly chosen from all tiles not in either side's deployment area.

--Dilettante: Every turn this hero generates 20*level science toward a randomly chosen technology from the current tier.

--Diplomat: Reduces the influence cost of all diplomatic actions by (level).



Units

--Outrider: Unused movement points of this unit are applied the next turn to its vision range.

--Stealth: If all units in the army have this capacity, unfriendly armies and outposts need to be 1 tile closer to this army to see it.

--Pathfinder: This unit may descend cliffs. Friendly units may climb cliffs adjacent to this unit. Moving through this unit requires a maximum of 1 movement point regardless of terrain type.

--Explosive: In battle, this unit gets a bonus to its movement equal to its morale.

--Flanker: So long as it begins and ends its phase inside the battle area, this unit may move outside the battle area

--Stoic: This unit gains 1 morale for each adjacent impassible (mountain, water, or cliff) tile.

--Bloodthirsty: Once this unit causes damage to an opposing enemy unit, it will ignore further orders and instead target that unit, until that unit is dead.

--Ice Cold: This unit will not counterattack.





Items

--Silhouette: Shield slot. This unit gains the free counterattack capacity.
