Hello! I wanted to say thanks to the studios for an amazing game. I had fun throughout the session and although I'm pretty sure I would have lost if not for playing in Newbie difficulty, I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I have a couple questions/feedback here..

Some things I have feedback for:

1) I couldn't really know at start, visually or on text, whether areas have rivers or other features. Until I zoomed to a certain extent and saw rivers flowing. Maybe the UI could show these features more prominently, like -ANOMALY- or -RIVER- in the tile description. Maybe its somewhere but I really didnt see it.

2) Combat takes too long, I want to manual fight but sometimes it's really too time consuming basically.

3) Why isn't there any trade route equations or FAQ? I don't really know what I was doing, just ensured every city had roads. Clarification would be better, if anyone can point me to it.

4) There should be a better way to cycle through cities you own, and find the armies you own. Maybe click an army and Tab through, click a city and Tab through them all?

5) Could there be a tooltip in improvements that contain bonuses to River/Lake/Ocean such that, when I hover over it in a city that doesn't have any of those nearby, it would alert "No lakes nearby. No Oceans nearby. No rivers nearby." So I can plan it better? I'm not really sure if Inland Waters are considered Lakes too.

6) Where can I see the exact details of each win condition? I didn't know an Economic Victory costs 290k dust. Where was that stated? (I knew only when I had like 25 turns left)

7) Does the Roving Clans Hero have to be governor to provide the trade route bonus buffs? Or she can roam in an army and still provide them? I'm quite lost.

Have a few more in my head but I can't remember them all.

Thanks nonetheless for an amazing game like this. I can't wait to see what you guys have lined up next. Good choice getting the Emperor Pack.

1) Agreed. But if you zoom out, at some point, you'll be able to see rivers, forests and anomalies on the "canvas". You get used to it, but it could stand to be clearer.

2) Hmm... I think combat needs more player involvement, not less. If you look at the options, there is the ability to speed up combat animations by 2x though.

3) Not 100% sure about trade route calculation. Here's what we know though: /#/endless-legend/forum/5-general/thread/1940-questions-trade-routes-and-roving-clans-heroes

4) When you select a city or army, there are arrows on the left and right sides of the screen, these allow you to rotate through your cities or armies. Amplitude could definitely add some keyboard shortcuts though.

5) Personally, I'd just prefer it if they removed the ability to build that improvement if there are no relevant tiles within your current exploitations or districts. Inland Waters, Coastal Waters and Lakes are all treated the same.

6) You can access the victory progress screen from the Empire screen. There aren't really exact details documented for each win condition. Here are some of them: /#/endless-legend/forum/9-tips-tricks/thread/3697-variable-victory-conditions . Other than those, there's diplomatic victory (search for a recent thread about how you reach this), score victory (search for a recent thread about calculation), supremacy (taking all capitals), elimination (last empire standing) and wonder (complete the faction quest, build the building it unlocks)

7) Governor only. See the link provided in the answer to 3)

Hello and thank you for your reply. Yes, at times I am overwhelmed by the canvas and would like a better way to see Rivers, and Anomalies. Forests are pretty visual so no arguments there.

It can have more involvement, you are right. I was looking for increasing the speed of things in game. Thanks for that.

Agree with you on 5) and from your answers I'm sure there are better quality of life improvements that can be made to the game. Thanks for your tips nonetheless! smiley: smile

There is a keyboard shortcut to cycle through armies/cities- it is tab.

I figured that out when my 6 month old climbed onto my laptop, so don't feel bad. There isn't a list of keyboard shortcuts to look through, because they haven't finalised any of them. More like temporary buttons.

Making it so river/lake dependent buildings didn't show up without rivers/lakes in the region would be a nice improvement. It isn't like we can add rivers to our lands, so no point in them sitting there the whole game.

Kinda strange Legend doesn't do that when Space did with comparable improvements. Then again, they are nice enough not to make at least the first few cost no upkeep so its not terrible long-term. Kinda bugs me to have Cargo Bays in the list when the region has no water, though.

1. If you "hover over" a tile, on the left it will show a window where you can see everything it has and it will say things like "+1 [leaf] from river". It gives a complete breakdown of what features are on that tile and where the resources come from.

2. The default combat speed is atrocious. Before you start your next game, go into advanced options in the game lobby and set combat speed to "very fast". It's great.

4. Agreed, the buttons to click between cities are awkwardly placed.

6. On the chart where each faction's scores are graphed over time, it will show what % each faction has gotten towards the win condition, and in some cases (e.g. economic) hovering over the win condition title itself on that screen will show the exact requirements.
