Usually I dont build all kinds of Buildings in my cities. And I usually know from the beginning which I dont want to build. For instance I know that I dont want to build Fish farms in cities without water nearby. But each time a city has finished its build que I have to "check" which buildings not to build, allthough I probably have done it many times already. What I suggest is a function to hide the Buildings (perhaps with a right-click on the building) from the list of buildable Buildings. That Way I can hide the Fish farm, dust dredge, irrigation etc. from cities where I dont want to build it and I wont have to check each time which Buildings not to build. /Sincerely

I would agree that this would be helpful. If you right click them to hide them there should be a tab where you can view the hidden buildings in case you change your mind.

Think about this : If building become hidden, we need a way to make it showable again.



Then, adding a Filter button should be OK.

Filter by : ALL, Units, Building, Unwanted

When clic on "unwanted", it show only unwanted items. Right clic again on one remove it from "unwanted" and make it showable again.

I agree - even if there aren't many, I'd guess there's probably at least one or two buildings in virtually every game which you never want to build. Not necessarily because they're bad, but just because it doesn't suit your playstyle in that game. Small feature but potentially quite handy, yet I've never seen it in any 4x. At least, not on buildings - most games have some form of deletion/obsolete toggle on units.
