How do you get warships for Cultists and Mycara, if their region has no access to the ocean?

Oceans, with DLC of "Tempest", began to be important in a game. That it is more important, ordinary, land beings, on water are powerless, all their parameters decrease several times. 1-3 war ships can break army from 8 land beings, together with the hero!


But if you play cultists or you play mykara, and you appeared in the region which does not border on the ocean, you are doomed to easy defeat in water, you will not be able to occupy any water fortress!


It is an absurd situation!




I suggest - to give the chance to these to 2 fractions in any region which is not occupied with other fractions, and adjoining on the ocean, to put shipyard! Let this shipyard have health (we will tell, 100) and can be destroyed or plundered by hostile land army, I agree.

You have right, but it would needs a technical work that I doubt the devs will do at this point of the game.

A semi solution is bringed by the great Endless Legend Community Patch : Cultist always start on costal region. So they can have access to the ocean.

But I don't fully like this solution because I like when Cultist begin in the middle of the landmass. It's more interesting to be surrounded.

What I suggested, wasn't hard, to do. The game already has a shipyard. Just need to resolve to build it in a neutral/their (mykara are "overgrown" regions (on the site of the captured cities) regions, without the city, and assign destructible (like sentinel towers or extractors). Including the destruction of at foreign colonisation of the region (or need to destroy the shipyard to colonize).

Built ships can be launched from converted villages on coasts with a 1 turn delay for every reagon boundary between capital and the village.

I'm not sure for Myrkara... maybe it's easier to just make it so that each faction can build cargo docks on the coast of the continent they are land locked in... if you're smart you'd want to put it next to a watch tower but yea.

It concerns kultist? It is exact information, official game mechanics? Did not notice it in a game for cultist.
