Hello.

- To me one of the most usefull new option to create would be a super speed of units animations : https://www.games2gether.com/endless-legend/forum/5-general/thread/2542-stream-q-a-ask-us-almost-anything

- But I think too that it would be very good to have a ladder option (the ESO system rank, for exemple). With that we could see the level of each player. And some players like the competition.

- Last argument : it would be great to see who are the quitters. If when you quit you are flagged by games and/or by humans players, these comportements of quitting could tend to dissapear.

As disappointing as it is that people leave games, to penalize them cannot and should not be a mandatory feature. To play a full game of EL, you need to devote at the very least, 4 hours of time. For most people, 4 hours is 25% of the day. And there is a lot to do in a day. I myself can't devote 4 consecutive hours to just about anything besides my job. And even then, I'll take breaks so I can get up, stretch my legs or use the bathroom.

What you ask for is unreasonable for anyone.

The competitive ladder/ranking system is not a bad idea though. For those that want to compete, it's about time some real strategy games get a competitive mode.

Only issue with quitters is that the game should declare the last remaining human player the winner. (this is especially pertinent for the cagematch achievement)

Also, reverting an empire to AI when a player quits is problematic as well since AI is easily conquered and exploited for profit.

UnknownAspect,

- I understand your argument but a man who cannot play more than 2 hours should not come into a game which will probably long last 4 hours. Moreover I don't think it is really the reason of quitting. If it was true, quitters would writte "Hey I am quitting sorry I don't have time". But I have nearly never seen that message.

- If people who have small time to play wants to play, they can but the others plays should know this situatino if not, there is no respect. So, again, I still think it would be good to have a flag system (and a ranking system) to see who are the weak/strongs players and who are the quitters (or players who can play only in short game) and who are not. If not, it means the host will tend to remember each pseudo of players to know who is quitter/weak/good and who is not. An automatic system would be really better !

If we really need quitter flagging: Quitter flags should only appear during ranked games, because in non-ranked games, the fun is what counts, not the statistics.
