Can we use the numpad to move the units on the world map? Not so important in battles, but on the world map when your exploring into the fog of war or unexplored areas its useful, that way you can make a change in course before the whole move is over. Having to click each tile of a move isn't as friendly.



Also can we have a keyboard hotkey toggle fidsi output and hex tile borders on/off? The buttons for them in the corner of the screen are quite small, it would be much nicer with a hotkey.







Love this game, haven't seen such an interestingly designed 4x game for so long. Good fantasy/scifi quests to make you want to see the story, unique factions. Interesting changes compared to Civ - regions with only one city and the battles played out seperately(although on top of the world map) are such great ideas to make it feel special, makes it have more of a board game feel, more of a game and not just an empire management/simulation.

Hi there,



The FIDSI toggle (shortcut key : F) has been implemented and will be in the next build.



Regarding the numpad movement, this is a bit tricky with the hex system. The numpad offers 8 directions, while you can move in 6 directions in a hexagonal world. Did you have a specific scheme in mind?

What I would like to see is a hotkey for default action for units. perhaps Z for offensive, X for defensive and C for hold position. alternatively A, D and H (Attack, Defend, Hold). It gets a little tedious in combat reselecting every unit and altering their orders. a hotkey would make issuing default orders more efficient
