Several times before, I've said that we need to be able to customize the information overlay.

I appreciate the artistic vision/art direction for both the zoomed in map and the cloth-map when zooming out, but I'd still like to be able to turn certain bits of information on and off at my decision rather than the game's automatic toggles.

So, +1 from me for a toggle on city labels (as well as army icons).

Agreed, this would be a good thing. I have roaming armies attacking me from the north and it's hard to move my units to them.

I should point out, for anyone who may be confused as I was, that you can clear the entire overlay with ctrl-F10. However, I actually want to keep parts of the overlay, just clear the city banners primarily.
